Shri N. Naik, Director, SISI Mumbai, who beheld the charge of SISI Mumbai, from 01st Nov. 2005 to 12th Jan. 2006 has been transferred to H. Qtrs. at New Delhi . Shri Naik was given warm send off  by Officers & Staff Members of SISI Mumbai for his support during the brief tenure as a Director.
Retirement
Shri S. S. Kamble, S.W.Gr. I, retired on superannuation w.e.f. 31st Jan. 2006 . The Officers & Staff Members of SISI, Mumbai in a see off function to Shri Kamble appreciated his contributions in the organisation and wished him very happy and peaceful retired life.

Success Story of  Ms Rita Chhabria & Ms. Geeta Chhabria

 
Ms. Rita Chhabria & Ms. Geeta Chhabria were the trainees of EDP Programme conducted for Women in Nov-Dec 2004.
 
Inspired by the training received in the EDP Programme, the duo started their own venture in Glass Paintings by the name SIKO Frames.
 
They have now their own shop registered under Bombay Shop & Establishment Act.
 
These trainees are now motivating others to opt for self-employment by attending Training Programmes of SISI Mumbai.
