SISI is organizing Management Development Programmes for improving managerial competence of small-scale units. So far the Programmes were general and entrepreneurs and employees from any industry could attend the programmes. In addition to general programmes, the institute is launching industry specific programmes from the current financial year. Counselling, Retraining and Redeployment of VRS Optees of CPSUs

SISI, Mumbai is a nodal agency of implementing the above scheme of the Department of Public Enterprises. In the Financial Year 2005-06, the institute organized training for the VRS Optees of India United Mills of NTC (MN) Ltd, Mumbai imparting training to 180 VRS Optees. The institute is having action plan for imparting training to 500 VRS Optees and Released Employees of different PSUs in the F.Y.2006-07. The trainings are organised on self-employment and skill development. The eligible candidates are requested to contact SISI, Mumbai.
