Intensive Technical Assistance by Officer of Mechanical Division |
Shri Sachin
Shinde of Shri Samarth Engineers, MIDC, Shiroli, Kolhapur
approached Shri D.R.Johari Asst.Director of Mechanical
Division for marketing problem. After careful study of the
case, he was advised to include some other parts like jigs
and fixtures in his regular production of engineering items.
He was also advised on improved machining techniques by Shri
Johari. The party was taken to the right place where there
was demand and the large scale unit like M/s. Kirloskar
Ferrous Industries, Solapur was looking for right vendor for
manufacturing of the above items. The product was
immediately accepted and an order of about 1 lakh was
placed for execution. Shri Shinde is expressing deep
gratitude towards SISI Mumbai for timely help.

Success Story of EDP Trainee |
Mrs Pratiksha Bagwe has undergone a One Month Entrepreneurship
Development Programme on Rubber Products conducted by SISI , Mumbai
at Thane in 2005. Inspired by training and continued guidance from
SISI, Mrs Bagwe has set up her Unit named Samarth Rubber Products
at Vithawadi, Kalyan, Dist Thane. She commenced her commercial
production in April 2006 and within a short period grabbed the
orders of National Rayon Corporation, Central Railway etc.Her
unit is now permanently registered with DIC Thane with Regn No
112484158. SISI, Mumbai has also registered the unit under Sub-Contract
Exchange. |
