An Interactive Meet with National BDS providers for Export Market was organised on 01.08.2006 at Navi Mumbai with the support of Thane Belapur Industries Association. The Object of the programme was to disseminate the International Market Information to all Bulk Drug Cluster units, as well as, few formulation units as regards the Export Market potential available in other countries and also about their registration procedures. In all 18 participants attended the meeting.

Shri G. M. Ambhore, Director, SISI Mumbai in his Presidential Address shared his experience about the benefits achieved by Fan Cluster of Hyderabad. He also appealed all the cluster members to go for Market Development Assistance Scheme of SSI while participating in the Domestic/International trade Fairs.

Entrepreneurship Development Programmes

SISI Mumbai conducts Entrepreneurship Development in different districts of Maharashtra on regular basis, with a aim to promote Entrepreneurship in Youths.

Entrepreneurship Development Programmes were recently held at

Daund, Dist Pune (Trade : Leather, Rexine & Allied Products),

Panvel, Dist. Raigad (Trade : Repairs of Home Electrical Appliances) & at

Thane (Trade : Rubber & Rubber Products).

The EDP in these places were preceded by Motivation Campaign.

1) MDP on Industrial Management from 26th to 30th June, 2006.

2) MDP on Marketing Management from 03rd to 07th July, 2006.

3) MDP on Financial Management from 10th to 14th July, 2006.

65 participants participated in the above programmes.
