Interaction Meet with US Trade Delegation
An interaction meet with American Trade Delegates was held on 29th Jan. 2007 . Mr. Mauel Arosales, Associate Administrator for International Trade, US Small Business Administration, Washington alongwith his team visited SISI Mumbai and interacted with Officers & Representatives from different SSI Industry Associations.

Shri
Milind Ambavane is an ex-EDP trainee of SISI Mumbai. He has
also attended the following
training programmes :- 1) Management Development Programmes in Marketing Management, 2) Awareness Programme on “ISO 9000”, 3) Training Programme in Preservation of Fruits & Vegetables, 4) Training Course in Packaging for Export. Shri Ambavane gained knowledge in the field of Marketing, Quality Standards and general management of enterprise in these training programmes. He has since launched his own company by the name M/s. Suras Foods. It manufactures Traditional Sweets, Namkins, Bakery Products. The company is a registered SSI Unit. The investment made in the company is about Rs.63 lakhs. Shri Ambavane now plans to go for International Quality Ceritification like HACCP & ISO, he is also planning to go for Export Marketing.
