The
Secretary(SSI&ARI) reviews SISI, Mumbai’s work
Shri
Chandra Pal, IAS, Secretary (SSI & ARI ), Govt. of India was on
visit to Mumbai on 14th April,2007. The Secretary held
meeting with the Sr Officers of SISI, Mumbai and reviewed the
progress of SISI, Mumbai. Shri G.M.Ambhore, Director, SISI, Mumbai
presented the highlights of achievements in the F.Y.2006-07. The
Secretary advised the officers of SISI, Mumbai to organize mass
awareness campaigns, particularly in rural areas. He further advised
to take support of elected representatives like M.L.A.s and M.P.s
for such endeavours. He was very keen for block-wise developments and
Skill development programmes for weaker sections.
AS&DC(SSI) meets the representatives of COSIA
The
Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner (SSI) Shri Jawahar
Sircar IAS met the representatives of COSIA on 16/01/2007 at SIDBI.
Shri G.M.Ambhore, Director, and his colleagues were present for the
meeting. Shri Sircar listened to the problems highlighted by COSIA
and briefed them about the policy/steps being taken by Govt. to
address such issues.
