11 officers of SISI, Mumbai have successfully completed the Lead Auditors training in ISO 9000, conducted by TUV SUD South Asia, in Feb.2007.With this achievement, now SISI, Mumbai is equipped with its own qualified officers for undertaking related assignments.

Participation in UGC Sponsored National Seminar

Shri G.M. Ambhore, Director & Shri R.B.Gupte, Dy. Director (IMT), guided the participants of the UGC Sponsored Seminar on Entrepreneurship & Venture Creation for Women on 23rd Feb. 2007. The Seminar was Organised by Dept. of Postgraduate Studies and Research Science, SNDT Women's University, Mumbai

Shri Tatyasaheb B. Shewale approached SISI, Mumbai in the year 1997 to inquire about Self-Employment Schemes. He was guided about various self-employment avenues available.  Shri Shewale, was informed about PMRY Scheme for Educated Unemployed Youths. He availed a Loan of Rs.55,000/- from Bank of Baroda under this Scheme and purchased an auto rickshaw.

Shri Shewale has since repaid the entire loan amount and also purchased two more auto rickshaws. He now employs four more persons.  His annual income is around Rs.85,000/-

Shri Shewale, now leads a settled life and expresses his gratitude towards SISI, Mumbai for guiding him. SISI, Mumbai wishes him all the best for his future.
