It is very unique event that w.e.f. July 2007 our office is no more SISI but renamed as Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Institute abbreviated MSME-DI, Mumbai. All the while, we were propagating MSMED Act 2006, and finally it took off with the change in name of the Ministry and changes in affilated Organisations and Institutions. The old term SSI is being replaced by MSME and all our services in new phase will be focused to cover Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. We hope that our services will become more useful and effective to meet the recently effected changes. In this context, we reaffirm our determination for the growh of MSMEs.
