VIP Visit

Shri Sanjeev Kaushal, IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India & Addl. Development Commissioner(MSME) visited the then SISI, Mumbai on 22.06.2007. He visited the SENET Division and suggested various changes to be incorporated as per the latest requirements in the IT field. He also had a meeting with the Officers of the Institute.
 
Meeting with Minister

Shri Suresh Shetty, Hon'ble Minister of State for Technical Education.
A meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Minister of State for Medical Education, Techincal Education & Higher Education, Shri Suresh Shetty on 20th June 2007 in which Shri G.M.Ambhore, Director, Director, Dr. N.B.Pasalkar, Director, Techical Education, Shri J.D.Bhutange, Director. Vocational Education, Dr. A.R. Gorule, OSD in Mantralaya and Shri R.B. Gupte, Dy. Director(IMT) were present. Shri G.M.Ambhore, Director,  explained various schemes recently launched by Ministry of MSME, Govt.of India.

Impressed by the schemes for educated unemployed youth , the Hon’ble MoS directed to arrange many of the programmes in Engg.Colleges, Polytechnics and I.T.I.s for final year students. Accordingly, with the active involvement of DTE and Directorate of Vocational Training action plan has been chalked out for organising IMCs and Entrepreneurship Development Programmes in different government engineering colleges & polytechnics in various districts of Maharashtra.The endeavour is going to help young engineers be be self employed.
 
MSME Meet at COSIA, Thane
G.M. Ambhore, Director, of the then SISI Mumbai is addressing MSME Meet on 27th June 2007 .The meet was organised by Chamber of Small Industries Associations,(COSIA) Thane on the occasion of COSIA day

Shri G.M.Ambhore, Director & Shri A.D.Patil, Deputy Director (Stat) participated MSME Conference organized by COSIA Thane. Smt Malini Shankar, IAS Development Commissioner (Inds), Govt of Maharashtra was present during the conference as Chief Guest. Director delivered lecture on the SIDO Schemes & MSMED Act 2006 etc on 27th June 2007. 50 delegates of different MSME Associations from different parts of Maharashtra were present during the conference.
