Shri Sanjay Jayaram Desai has undergone Entrepreneurship Development Programme organized by SISI, Mumbai in February 2003.

After that he has started his own fruit processing unit named ‘Sujay Home Products’ at Khare Patan in Kankavali Tehsil, Sindhudhurg District. The unit processes locally available fruits like Mango, Kokam, Lemon, Amla, Cashew nuts etc. Sujay Home Products manufactures Kajuli, Amboli, Kajura, Auraka, Amrit Kokam, Colamla, Limco etc. from these fruits. “Amrutanand” is the trade mark of Sujay Home Products.

The unit has obtained FPO Licence. They have also registered with District Industries Centre and the turnover of the the unit is Rs.5.0 Lakh per annum. More than 10 persons have been employed in the unit.

Recently Sujay Home Products received Dadasaheb Raval Navudyojakata Puraskar. The unit is being encouraged for giving wider publicity to its products.
