We are gratified to our Respected Secretary (SSI & ARI), Shri B.S. Minhas, IAS, who kindly paid a visit to this Institute on 18.11.2003.  Respected Secretary met  the officers and visited different facilities of this Institute including the common facility workshop.  Respected Secretary, at the beginning of his visit was received by the Officers and a power point presentation explaining the different activities of this Institute was made.

We were immensely happy to receive our Respected Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner (SSI) Shri Suresh Chandra, IAS, on 03.09.2003.  At the outset, he was briefed about our activities through a power point presentation and later he was shown the different facilities further augmented in our Institute.

Ms. Sonia Grincieri, Regional Director, Western Australian Trade Office- India, Govt. of Western Australia held a meeting with Director, SISI, Mumbai to discuss the forthcoming Global Vendor Development Programme planned at SISI, Mumbai.

Mr. Alberto Criscuolo, International Expert of  I.L.O., Geneva, alongwith Shri B.S.Hegde, Advisor of Employers Federation of India visited SISI Mumbai on 11.08.2003.  A Meeting with representatives of SSI Association, SISI Officers and Mr. Alberto Criscuolo was arranged at SISI Mumbai to discuss various labour related issues in SMEs.
