P.K.Mukherjee,
Director of this Institute was specially nominated by Govt. of India
to Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata for a specialised
Training on Managerial Development & Conflict Resolution. Shri Mukherjee, has
interacted with high level Management Executives of various large
business houses from all over the country & abroad and is
preparing a special plan for extending help to SMEs in the state,
based on his experiences in IIM Kolkata.
Shri
S. Vijaykumar, Dy.Director (Chem.) attended India International
Conference on Biotechnology held at Hyderabad in September 2003.
Mutual Cooperation
between TRCs of Maharashtra & Karnataka
Shri R.B.Gupte,
Dy.Director(IMT) who heads the Technology Resource Centre (TRC) at
SISI Mumbai has recently visited TRC at SISI Bangalore. It has
been mutually agreed to share important database between
Maharashtra and Karnataka for the benefit of Small Scale
Entrepreneurs of both the States. Shri C.R.Badrinath,
Dy.Director, Incharge of TRC Bangalore and Shri R.B.Gupte are
working out details for extending support to SMEs in both the
states through TRC.
Celebration of Hindi Day & Fortnight
Hindi
Fortnight was observed from 01.09.2003 to 15.09.2003, various
programmes like, Elocution Competition, Essay Competition & Hindi
Workshop were arranged for the promotion of Hindi.
