- SISI, Mumbai has undertaken a special drive to popularize Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme. In this endeavor, SISI, Mumbai organised with the support of SIDBI, an awareness programme on CLCSS specially for the representatives of Industries Associations. The programme was held on 26th May 2004 at SISI, Mumbai. Shri P.K.Mukherjee, Director, SISI, Mumbai welcomed the members of industries associations.

Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises had arranged a National Workshop at NISIET, Hyderabad on 26th June, 2004. Hon'ble Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Shri Santosh Mohan Dev inaugurated the Workshop. Shri P.K.Mukherjee, Director, SISI, Mumbai presented a paper in the workshop. The paper gave important and valuable suggestions for implementation of the scheme more effectively. Shri R.B.Gupte, Dy.Director(IMT), the Coordinator for the scheme also attended the Workshop alongwith the Director & supported the presentation.
SIX SIGMA DEPLOYMENT PROGRAMME
A Half Day Awareness programme on Six Sigma Deployment was held at SISI, Mumbai on 02nd July 2004 with the support of Indian Statistical Institute, Mumbai. 90 representatives from Small and Medium Enterprises attended the programme.
