Shri Sachit Bhide		Shri Sachit Bhide was an unemployed youth in the year 1998-99. He approached SISI Mumbai for projects on self employment . He was given guidance to select activities and was also explained PMRY scheme in detail. He applied for loan under PMRY Scheme through SISI Mumbai. He had selected the software development and data processing as his activity. His loan of Rs. 1 Lac was sanctioned by Bank of India, Dahisar, Mumbai Branch. The Entrepreneur provided services for Sardina, Godrej, Karvy Consultant, Datamatics Ltd., G.E. Countrywide. He repaid PMRY Loan within 3 years. At present, he is engaged in Software Consultancy activities. He has also ventured into the Insurance activities of General Insurance. We wish him all success and hope that many young entrepreneurs will be motivated from his success story.

Mrs. Vasundhara Mahajan		Mrs. Vasundhara Mahajan has attended Entrepreneurship Development Programme conducted by SISI Mumbai, in the year 1997. She is first generation Entrepreneur,she selected a project on Food Processing particularly syrups & squashes. After attending the training she left her job from High Court & started a SSI Unit at Dahisar. The Unit is registered with the State Directorate of Industries and has also obtained FPO Licence. Her Unit has also achieved a turnover of Rs.6.00 Lacs,she has expansion plans for jams, sauces and ketchup. Shri Prashant Kashikar		Shri Prashant J. Kashikar has undergone an Entrepreneurship Development Programme conducted by SISI, Mumbai in early nineties. Thereafter, he started an Engineering unit in Vasai. He has undergone Management Development Programme on Industrial Management conducted by SISI, Mumbai, in the year 2001. Shri Prashant Kashikar is now the Dy. Managing Director of Mika Engineering Pvt. Ltd. The unit manufactures Auto parts, Press Tools, Sheet Metal Components. The SISI training programmes inspired him to send his products in International Trade Fair at Las Vegas in 2002. The SIDO Scheme has helped his unit in getting exposure in International Market. The unit has exported some parts to Israel and US also. The unit has turnover of about 4 crores. Shri Kashikar shares his success by attributing it to the usefulness of SISI training programmes. Shri Satheesan Menon		Shri P. Satheesan Menon, a Chartered Engineer had undergone the Entrepreneurship Development Programme conducted by SISI Mumbai at Ulhasnagar in Oct-Nov, 1999. Being motivated by the lectures on IPR, in the EDP Training, Shri Menon took up a project of developing a system which combines Gearbox, Clutch and differential mechanism of automobiles, into an Integral unit contributing to a Single System housed in a single casing. He has been awarded with the patent rights for the same. We congratulate him for his innovation and wish him all the success. Shri Menon is operating in the following address : M/s. 		Ms. Rita Chhabria & Ms. Geeta Chhabria were the trainees of EDP Programme conducted for Women in Nov-Dec 2004. Inspired by the training received in the EDP Programme, the duo started their own venture in Glass Paintings by the name SIKO Frames. They have now their own shop registered under Bombay Shop & Establishment Act. These trainees are now motivating others to opt for self-employment by attending Training Programmes of SISI Mumbai. Mrs. Pratiksha Bagwe		Mrs Pratiksha Bagwe has undergone a One Month Entrepreneurship Development Programme on Rubber Products conducted by SISI , Mumbai at Thane in 2005. Inspired by training and continued guidance from SISI, Mrs Bagwe has set up her Unit named Samarth Rubber Products at Vithawadi, Kalyan, Dist Thane. She commenced her commercial production in April 2006 and within a short period grabbed the orders of National Rayon Corporation, Central Railway etc. Her unit is now permanently registered with DIC Thane with Regn No 112484158. SISI, Mumbai has also registered the unit under Sub-Contract Exchange

Shri Palav		Shri Subhashchandra A.Palav, opted for VRS from India United Mills, Unit No.1, NTC(MN) Ltd., and joined the CRR Training programme conducted for vrs released employees in the same mills. He received training in multi-disciplinary activities such as manufacture of Leather items like purses, hand bags etc, Perfumes, Washing Powder, Liquid Soap etc. Shri Palav, started his venture of re-filling of perfumes etc. He now feels very confident of leading a stable life after his retirement, for which he is very thankful to SISI Mumbai for the training imparted. Ms Taraka Thakre		Ms. Taraka Nandkumar Thakre attended EDP programme organised at Dhule in the year 2005-06. She has now started her own venture in Tailoring Business, after investing Rs.25,000/- She availed loan from Canara Bank under the PMRY Scheme. Formation of a Cooperative in Rural Area.
An Entrepreneurship Development Programme for Women on Manufacture of Bags & Wallets was organised at Chiplun, Dist. Ratnagiri in the year 2003-04. As per the advice of Director, during his presence in valedictory function and Inspired by this Programme the participants viz Mrs. Alaskar, Mrs. Khare, Mrs Mane, Mrs. Khamkar, Mrs Jyoti Kanhere formed Sneha Swayam Rojgar Mahila Sahakari Sanstha, a cooperative organisation for self employment, Now 70 women operating in nearby area have become member of this Cooperative Society which manufactures and sell ladies garments like petticoat, blouses, bags, wallets etc. They have achieved turn over of Rs.5.00 lakh in first 08months. They approach SISI Mumbai for further guidance and improving working of their Society.
